1 1/2 hours to get up and ready, get my husband ready, and do the chores. Not too bad......I'll tell you how it works tomorrow on the first day of school. :wah:

I need an hour, that's time to get clean and eat. I'm not stepping out the door unclean or unfed.

Having a staff of six makes it possible to be that fast. The clothes are laid out in the dressing room, my hair gets brushed while my cravat's being tied, someone else reads the newspaper headlines to me while my egg's being boiled and my soldiers cut up. I've no idea how the lower classes manage at all, it baffles me where they learn their self-sufficiency. Instinct, perhaps.

Takes me 2 hours in the morning as I leave all the chores for the morning....I'm going to try to change this when I go back to work next week. If I have all my chores done then I'm out the door in 40 minutes.

Men are different! Lol! My other half can roll out of bed, pull on his jeans, keep on the t-shirt he's worn to bed, run his hands through his hair and go out the door.

Me? If I'm going to work I get up, feed the bunnies, make breakfast, pack a salad lunch and watch 7th Heaven if its on. :o Then I have a bath, wash my hair, clean my teeth, dry my hair, get dressed, check I have everything I need in my bag ... and then I go! :wah:

If the kids are going to school/college I also have to make lunches for them (although I try to do it the night before if I can), help them find homework/ shoes/ schoolbag and various other items they've suddenly realised they need desperately and can't find, remind them to clean their teeth (how can they forget? they have to do it every day but it still seems like an alien concept to them!) brush their hair (remind them not do it for them!) find cookery ingredients & PE kits if needed and get them out the door too!

That's why I get up at 6am and don't leave til 8am and why he can get up at 8am and be out by 10 minutes past! Pffft!

It depends on my plans for the day and the day or night before. :D But usually I should be done within half an hour.
