hello fellow Gardeners well i had a little accident today

i woke up this morning ready to go to the hosptal and my foot was dead (no feeling in it) so stupid me just jumped out of bed not thinking and i went head first onto the floor and my foot went backwards and i heard a very loud crack and then felt pain i looked down and my bone was nearly poking out of my skin, so i had to go by ambulance to hospital and i now have a very large cast on my leg yep stupid me went and broke it :-5 it hurts like hell and now i will be in plaster for 10 weeks :-1

has anyone else done anything lke that?? i am soo stupid lol

Poor you! Thats not a little accident thats big!!! :yh_hugs

I broke my arm as a teenager doing a cartwheel off a step, seemed like a good idea at the time, I only had a 'greenstick fracture' so I didn't get to have a plaster cast, boy was I gutted!!!

Hope the next ten weeks flys by!! You can watch daytime television and compare notes with Pink Princess now!!!

Oh, babygirl, that's an awful thing to happen. I'm so sorry. My son did the same playing rugby a few months ago. But it healed far quicker than was predicted so it could be the same for you. (He's a sweetie too.)

ooo weeee BG that 10 weeks is gonna feel like 10 months and if the weather is hot look out baby.

Ohhhh here's wishing you a speedy recovery, and remember you can not dance on the tables in the pub while in a cast, you can only go in and sit quietly with your foot up.

Oh great, Minks! Way to go telling her that. Next you'll tell her about how it will start itching any time she thinks about it, and that she'll have to straighten a coat hanger to get to the itchy spot, but she'll never find it because it's all in her head. Go ahead, tell her. ........ Hmm?

-Come on girl, fess up, you were roller blading when that happened, we know!

-Or just how many did you have at bothwells the other night?

-On the serious side hopefully you have someone around to help you, sorry that happened to you, I've never broke anything other than my big toe(dropped a jar of pickles on it) and my pinki toe, (dropped my sons wooden box of yugio cards on it)

BABYGIRL, Here are some flowers hope your feeling better soon.

Well don't feel alone sweetie, I did the exact same thing and broke my ankle, so your not alone.. felt stupid, they had to do surgery it was so tore up..!!

Just stay off your feet and it will heal fast, hope they gave you some good meds for the pain..

I hope you get lots and lots of sympathy from gracious men.............you CAN HOPE!!! I hope you heal fast BG. I broke my leg skiing, my collar bone horse jumping and my face on an ATV. They all healed and I got lots and lots of sympathy from gracious men wanting to help. You can hope!!!! :-6

Wow, Ive never even come close to breaking my leg just getting out of bed in the morning.

That cant be a good feeling when you hear your bones go CRACK.

Im sorry you have to go through that babygirl and I hope your not in too too much pain now. If you find yourself getting grumpy feel free to take it out on some of the other members here.

Go ahead and just lay right into them if it helps ok sweety ? Ill even yell at them with you if you feel shy or anything.
