Dogs killing hens is how I met my neighbors many years ago....they felt so bad because their dog killed our hens...I wasn't mad, told them it was their nature....of course about 15 years later when MY dog was killing their hens....IT was a different situation!!!:-5

I will have to buy new hens for them, this is the second time she killed hens. It is funny, my sister laughed too when I told her. Dad had her trained to leave them alone too, oops!
that farmer one day is a gonna be running after you!
Emergency nursing is to important these days, we don't have enough of them here.
perhaps you can use your training on one of those poor hens!:D

Tell him I said he's a good lad and I'm proud of him. Strangely enough, that'll make him smile.
Any time my children said they were bored they groaned at the response. Dads can think of more things for a kid to do than you'd believe - in their case I usually thought of of more books worth reading than would fit in a library. Have you considered taking a digital camera out for a day and seeing how artistic you can be with it? We'd love to see close-ups of bits of nature and oddity around where you live. It may be usual to you but it'll be alien to a lot of us.

I remember your Dad said he had to go buy a new laptop before he left, because he blew his up!
Spot has a great suggestion! We would LOVE to see your surroundings, when you were talking about the mountain lions and rattlesnakes, that was so foreign to me, but would still love to see pictures of your area!....not so much the snakes though, I'm 'askerred' of them!.....but I would be brave if you posted pics of snakes too!!
