What made you chose your user name?

Many have asked me about Odie.............Odie is the stupid dog on Garfield, a cartoon many years ago.

......he is just cute and stupid, like me!:wah:

anyone remember Odie?

Odie is on the left of my avy and Garfield the fat cat beside him.

how did you chose yours?

Nothing mysterious about mine, really... it's one of my given nicknames and used to be my occupation (my middle initial also begins with the letter "G")... Quite boring, really. I've been considering changing it, lately. :p

My brothers used to call me Shelly Belly (I was rather thin at the time) so I thought I'd shorten it to Shelbell because that's what my grandma would call me...she still does.

I've still got a few dozen years before they start callin' me that...:wah: As long as I continue eating healthy and getting plenty of exercise, I should be able to postpone that even longer...

i have answered this on here before..lol...its my reallife nickname given to me by a friend..said i appear to be a guppy untill you **** me off..then if you come to close to me..you walk off .............trying to figure out who just ripped a hole out of your but..and i am all looking innocent like a guppy...:p

ok..so i did this ONCE..and the name stuck...

When I joined FG....and throughout my adult life (including even now) I've felt like "WonderWoman"....I tackle the world with my lasso and jump into my invisible jet to take care of all of the evil in the world....okay maybe not that dramatic...but I have raised 3 boys by myself and work full time AND currently attending online college.....

I am currently unemployed (been laid off since March) so, life has been a little relaxing, but still stressful as I have to worry about the boys welfare....but I receive blessings daily, so no complaining here!

well, when i first thought about going on a forum i wanted to tell our miracle story about how after 13 years of infertility, we had Jacob, i thought it might give people who were going through the same type of thing "HOPE", and since Jacob was born in 2006, i came up with Hope6, although hardly anybody uses the 6 now, i'm just plain ol' Hope! :wah:

I have been called "Carla" for as long as I can remember a friend started call me "Carla" back in the 80's. I actually use it as my name now as my first name it very different french and not many people get it right.
