Guess this flower!
Well I thought of a game for this forum and it's a very fun and challenging one.
Basically I post a picture of a flower and one of you have to guess it, the first person who gets it right posts a flower and the game continues.
I put the image on download so you cannot cheat and find where I got it from (right click > properties > view source).
Anyways first image :

Have fun and good luck to you all.

It's because there is a gap between the http:
and the URL.
So make sure the URL doesn't contain a space when you copy and paste it.

I had this thread on another forum that no longer exists... it was quite popular, too. Let me sort through all of my garden pics and see what I can stump y'all with so we can continue Range's thread.

No, no cabbage....yes it is fuzzy and comes in several colors.

I've got something like that growing between my toes at the moment, if you put it under a microscope. The disinfectant turned it that colour.

Is it a cosmos flower?
Guess this flower!
It does look kinda' like a cosmos... it is a prairie flower, but a cosmos has eight petals. This is a popular herb whose roots are used for medicinal purposes. It also shares the name of a popular confection that used to use an extract from the roots of this plant.

Interesting clues....I'll take a stab and say it's star anise?
Guess this flower!
Nope, it's not star anise, but this herb is good for digestion. This is a perennial herb commonly found near marshes.
