OMG...It's a boy!

Post by Trunk Monkey »

Some time back I posted this and some members may or may not know this story so I will bore you with it again :wah: Some person at 3am tried to throw a kitten in my pond but the kitten missed the pond and wound up in the woods in my back yard. The kitten was crying and hubby and I went and found the kitten tangled in bushes and decided to take the kitten into my house. The kitten couldn't have been more than a few weeks old and was starving. I am lucky I have 7 bedrooms and gave the kitten a room where she could stay until I found it a home. I have 2 Miniature Pinchers, 1 older cat (15), an Amazon Parrot, and a pig (Miss Piggy). I called all the shelters and they were full and couldn't help me out. We looked :sneaky: and decided this was a female kitten. We decided to name her Hope after one of the members here. Well, to make this story shorter, we found a woman willing to take Hope. This woman just took the kitten to the vet and....yep...it's a boy! Is this like a dog named Sue :wah: Now, this woman is asking what "boy" name she should name it. Any suggestions??????

Tom? Garfield? Or Mr. Bigglesworth?
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

I got to admit Mr. Bigglesworth made me laugh :wah: That's a good one that I will suggest. The kitten is also (forgot to mention) coloring is gray tiger stripe with white paws and chest. Thank you for your suggestion, I'm still laughing :wah:

How about Nermal? Like that little grey cat that hung out with Garfield?

That kitten should be dead after all that.

Hoss, you are so right about that. We found out later that the rest of the litter was placed in plastic bags and the rest I think I don't want to talk about :-1 Why this one kitten was thrown and survived missing that pond is beyond reasoning.

Like the name BTW....

Like that one also! Thank you for responding. Boy (no pun intended) this is going to be a hard one to decide.

Because of where we found the kitten, I like the following names:

1) Ponder (since it was almost thrown in the pond)

2) Weeder (since it was found in the weeds)

3) Chance (since we gave him a chance to survive)

Let's keep going please and name this kitten!

i'm sorry for laughing, it was so sweet of you to name the kitten after me, but i have to admit this is really funny! because the same thing happened to my mother! she took in a kitten, thought it was a girl and when we took it to the vet we discovered it was a boy!

i named her cat Sassy btw, for a cat in the movie, Homeward Bound The Incredible Journey!
