I think I'm starting to feel just a teensy weensly little bit mollified... yeah..

Okay, I shall go and wash my face, all tear stained from all the emotional suffering..

golly gosh... just at this crucial drama queen type highpoint - the Pacific Dawn steamed into Sydney Harbour blowing its foghorn or whatever, in a very very rude sounding way - and messing with my elevated celebratory train of thought.

... wash my face, and apply some mascasra - not gonna let that Carolly outshine me except in singing and then only when it's Cilla Black. Berlin cabaret is all mine, OK?!! - um. Do we have cake to go with the champers??? We gotta have cake!!!

I made a HUGE Strawberry and Cream cake yesterday and took 3 pictures of it....there on the FOC thread on yesterdays posts.......it was sooooooo yummy.....sorry I didnt save you any:D:p:guitarist

Just as well I don't understand Galbie's Irish accent or I might hafta thump him. Thanks again, Everyone. I had the best birthday I remember. Really. A day when not a single boot dropped, no smite keys, no falling pianos. Had lunch with a girlfriend, and got given flowers and taken out to dinner. My sister gave me a gold cashmere scarf and the fam called from London and Paris. The sun was shining too. Bliss.

Shall we cut Kathy's very fine cake????

Thanks Minksie and KS !!!! I was in my predawn aquarobics class this morning and someone did congratulate me on being 29!!! But added, that really, 29 isn't that great a year - and that 35 is a whole heap better!! And they convinced me.

Can I start this birthday thread all over again????!!! Seeing as I'm not 29 any more but in fact 35!! An elegant, stylish year - where I have the money (thanks to Car's generosity, and my FG casino capers) to employ chauffeurs, tanned masseurs, a personal maid, a butler and of course a whole stable of totally naughty boy toys!!!

AND of course I throw THE BEST parties - A list only, of course, plus all the bohemian sparky people I naturally collect, and of course FGers, and even that amazing celtic icon, Galbally!!

So anyway, on my last birthday, my Granddaughter said to me so how old are you today? I told her I was "39", and "holding"! She thought for a moment, and then said, "so how old would you be if you let go!!! :wah:
