my hubby watches that stuff every night on Setanta or Bravo, cant remember which, UFC or cage fighting and the like, I cant bear it, its so barbaric.

Had to laugh he was desperate to watch the Amir Khan fight and was spouting off cos sky were charging £14-95 pay-per-view and we already pay for sky+ and setanta, anyways I said if you wanna watch it, do it..........Nearly 15 quid and he goes down in first round:wah:

Not a big fan of Evans but it was a heck of a punch if he had not have landed it that split second faster than Liddel the outcome may have been different eh.

I enjoyed Rich Franklin taking it to Matt Hamill. Franklin is one of my faves.

Jason MacDonald the middleweight is a good old Canadian boy from the north of me here in Alberta whooo hooo good to see him win.

I also was glad to see Nate Marquardt win.

I'm waiting for the Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock fight signed for October 4, 2008...

Shamrock is old but I don't think Kimbo will have an easy fight...Ken Shamrock is one of the most experienced fighters in the UFC and Kimbo'd better not expect anything...

I have to agree that the hype surrounding Kimbo is a bit too overzealous...He did kick the sh*t out of people but they were slob, out of shape bums...:wah:...

I do have to say though, I've never seen anyone so determined at ripping someones' fn head off like Kimbo...:wah:...He's like a much bigger and meaner Mike Tyson...

I do respect Kimbo from in where he grew up and how he's actually a responsible father...He has a head on his shoulders too...

But I think There isn't very many people in the octagon that can fight with Kimbo standing up...People speak of experience and one thing's for sure and that's Kimbo has experience brawling...People tend to not like to credit brawling but it's still experience...He does lack the experience of submission style fighting and it definitely shows...For the record I think Thompson deserves a shot again because those fights during that fight night was BS!!!...I've never seen a more incompetent display of officiating...

In any case,..Kimbo needs to keep the fight up in the air or he's going to have trouble...But my money's on Kimbo...
