I finally broke down and became a supporting member and it's already letting me do all the fun stuff, but it's not letting me respond to the journal entries...does this take longer than the other things before becoming able to do so?

Initial reaction: Respond to journal entries? Respond to journal entries??! Even I've never tried doing that! The journal's the most sacrosanct personal space on the entire Internet and you're trying to cause a riot by posting into someone else's? You should apply to be a moderator immediately, we need recruits with hobnail boots and a psychotic disposition.

Considered reaction: shelbell, threads in the journal forum can only be written to by the original poster.

I thought you could send comments on journal entries to the one journaling, not post on them.

But yes, I do have a psychotic disposition...but I'm not sure what hobnail boots are, so I'm not sure about that one.:thinking:
