Cold calls

When I returned to mine humble abode today after wrking like a dog the house phone was going mad with its "Ringetty, ringetty, ring, ring ring".

Now, normally I just yell at it and it shuts up, but tonight I picked up the handset and had listened.

The voice on the other then revealed to me a revelation in the following words - or an approximation thereof - "Your telephone number has been selected to have a 14-day vacation at any 5-star hotel anywhere in the world."

I informed the voice that my phone number wasn't getting to go away on jollies when myself was being a wage slave.

Then I hung up the phone.

Have I caused the voice mental pain?

Have I caused a crisis of faith?

Did I enjoy it?
An ye harm none, do what ye will....
