How Long?

have you gone without speaking to another person, in person or on the phone? My wife is gone until the end of the month and it is now 6:26 PM and the last time I spoke to someone was Saturday evening. Despite my being a extrovert this does not bother me at all. I have been out and about but just have not had the occasion to speak to another person. This would probably drive some people nuts. My wife is incapable of going more than 20 min. without talking to someone. How about you?

Lon I'm with you I could go days without speaking. I hate phones I let everything go to voicemail, then text them back. :wah:

Some days in class I feel like I'm talking to the wall and not the students...........:rolleyes:

:wah::wah: I hear ya Chonsi.

I teach, so I talk every second of the day to the kidlets, teachers and parents. I like to be quiet at night so I can get my voice back and put the marbles back in my head after a long day.

When I'm chilling in Florida during my holidays, I sometimes like to just take a few days and not talk to anyone except for those that feed and water me:wah::wah:. I like the quiet.

I do that CArla. Let it go right to the machine unless it's an emergency, like the kids school or hubby. Everybody else can wait.

and this is why they invented FG so those of us who love the peace and quiet can quitely keep up a social life online yay....

Im with you guys, the phone is my least favorite piece of technology and cell phones to me are mere tracking devices bah I can send smoke signals any day thanks hehehehehe

They call you a weirdo if your the silent type here. Answer machines work until your grandma calls. They just keep saying into it "Are you there, can you hear me/" Until you pick the thing up.

If you don't have one, your seen as some oddball. They give people you don't want to talk to the right to phone you in the shop, the bus queue, the toilet etc. They also think if they phone you on your cell phone, they are your best buddy cos they got your number. Have you spotted the people on trains & buses who get a call on their cell phone & then shouts so you all can here. It's like, look at me, i'm important, i've got a friend. The best one's are the people that know your home, phone your home number, don't get an answer cos your in the bath, then phone your cell phone thinking you'll answer because they are far more important than anyone else. I hate them. Doesn't stop me phoning the husband 200 times a day to ask "What yer doing?"
