He is my soulmate, my best friend and the father of my 2 girls.

He loves me unconditionally, he cares about me and for me like cooking most nights after a hard days work. He likes to make me happy, if im happy, he is happy. We often think the same things at the same time and we still love and desire one another. He puts me before anything else and he makes me feel safe. He puts no demands on me (except i use the pc too much:o) and is not jealous or uncaring. He can read me like a book, would give me the world and then some if he could. He is a brilliant father and son. I love him tons and tons...

We just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary on Sept 4th and in July we had been together 19 years.

Id prefer it if he didnt smoke, for his health and for the children who worry about him.

I'm not sure whether I've mentioned this or not already but I've not got a significant other. I haven't had one for a long time and I don't think that I'm likely to have one any time soon either, as I just feel like I'm a total failure.
I'm too compassionate to be an utter bastard.

Too self respecting to be a caring idiot.

Too much pride to give up the self respect.

And not willing to take the rap for a lack of compassion.

Where does this leave me? Nowhere. What does this leave me? Nothing. Who does this leave me? Noone.

Watcher that's nonsense your not a failure. I was divorced by the time I was 24 I will be 61 tomorrow and never remarried. I had several long term relationships that went no where. For the past 5 or 6 year I haven't even dated. I certainly don't consider myself a failure for not having someone in my life its a choice I have made. If someone comes along so be it until then I enjoy my life as it is very rich and full. :-6

I married at 16 everyone said we were too young even though he is 7 years older than me. We had 3 kids together the youngest is nearly 20 now.

Ive been through post natal depression after the second ( caused by botched delivery) and later thyroid trouble which means I fall asleep all over the place, cant go to the movies (dark place soft seats no chance!) and I'm 15kg heavier than I used to be.

We have been married 27 years (28 next Feb 14)

I get at least 10 text messages a day telling me that he loves me , that I am the most fantastic mum, wife , lover in the world , that he feels blessed that we are together.

Of course there are little things I don't like such as him smoking I'm sure there are things about me that irritate him but the good outweighs the bad 100 times over.

I know I'm blessed to have this man to share my life with.:-4

Oh, I have the best hubs in the world. Met him on the rebound from a failed relationship (idiot than got jealous, ah, too bad mate). He is my bestest friend and we do think and agree on a lot of stuff. He is loving, kind and a great dad to the kids and does lots of stuff with all of them. I love when he comes into the kitchen while I'm cooking and gives me a big bear hug.:-4 and gives me a smooch on the cheek.:-4 Best of all he is my #1 friend.

Yeah, he's not too keen on the pc thing either. But, he agrees that I need to get into another realm and have a laugh with the world. Other than that he could care less.
