Is when my husband had a cerebral hemorrhage. Initially he was paralyzed on his right side and unable to talk. You have heard how his memory is not the same, but he has substituted my name as “she most of the time, “Mom in what he considers an emergency situation. (like when is dinner being served)

Four years later, he can walk with a walker, and he went with me to the library today. No, he didn’t check out any books, but he wanted to get outside and move around. And he knew I do not feel well this week, and wanted to go everywhere with me. (even TKD) He is starting to move outside his own limited sphere, and I think he has done quite well. (mischievous he is, I think he is still in a childhood phase, but about 7-8 now, still needs a nurse for 4 hours a day, but the upside of it all, he is so much better than he once was and continues to improve slowly):-4

I thank you all my dear friends here on FG, you have listened to me babble on for years about this, but it has helped me through many a crisis point that passed and showed his improvement. :-4

It's a testament of the strong man you married, and the phenominal woman he was lucky enough to find.

I didn't realize it had been that long. I'm glad he has continued to

improve.

I don't mind at all hearing about it. Especially if it makes you feel

a little better in the telling...

I still aspire to be you when I grow up Chonsi...

Not because I see you as a superhero, but because I see you as what we should each of us be.........:-4

I would hope, faced with the trials and tribulations you and your husband have been through, that I could handle it with such determination, grace, and strength that you have. My best wishes always to you and your husband. :-4

Accountable said it better than I can. I can't imagine what you have been through. Love is an action word and you have demonstrated what it means.

Something is wrong with my putter chonsi, it won't open the OP on pg1, either yesterday or today.

However, from what I gather reading page 2 replies, I join all the heartfelt feelings your other friends have stated. I would just like to add: You are a loving, devoted, "Hero"!!! :-6
