Hi ButterflyPrincess, I will start by saying you need to know the ranking of poker hands. I am not sure how much you know so I will start with the VERY basics.

First lowest hand (and a poker hand is usually always your best 5 cards)

If there are no pairs then it is the highest card in either players hand.

So ace (1) being the highest card and 2 (or deuce) the lowest.

This hand would be a Jack HIGH and if the opponent had a 10 high the Jack High would win.

The next higher would be a pair:

One Pair

Two cards of equal rank.

Bridge is no problem at all. Poker puzzles me because what a hand's worth depends on how many people get dealt a hand and what wild cards are recognized and which cards are common to all players, if any, and how many of the cards are visible to everyone. Even if how many people get dealt a hand is the only variable it's still hard to work out the hand's comparative value.

Excellent how to guide off BTS on poker...Thanks, I didnt know the straight had to be a mix of each suit so thanks for that also..

Now can you do a guide on how to win the lottery?:D
