Equine lovers...Unite!

Post by Mandy »

Just curious as to who the horse owners/lovers are out there?

I`ve been a horse enthusiast for years now and am finally getting around to buying one all for myself. My foal is due to birth some time in March...very excited!

So who are the horse lovers out there....care to talk about your equine/post a pic?:)

Bothwell's hunter Tosca, gorgeous animal, 17 hands, but injured pastern, he donated him to riding for the disabled. now refers to him as 1/2 ton of very expensive dogfood  ...he doesn't mean it, we love Tosca and he makes children very happy, a worthy cause. :-4

Sweet Talking Jack, Registered Quarter horse, unsure on the hands....the sire to my foal due to birth in March....

I`m A True Cooza, Registered Paint, again unsure on the hands....the dam to my foal due in the spring....

Check out Cooza`s beautiful bald face and blue eyes....I know, I`m a nut....

Really sad story about Jack...if you look carefully in the pic, you can see his back leg has a horrible scar on it. His previous owner took a hatchet to him when he got pissed at his girlfriend. Jack almost died. Now, all he can be used as is a stud horse.....but he`s still beautiful to me.

Been ridin' since I was 3 and owned many horses many years! We had

mainly Quarter Appendix Mandy, are you familiar with them? Some day I'm

going to get a case and display all my ribbons! Love to ride but don't get

much chance any more. Saddle is in the garage on a stand though so if

opportunity knocks, I'm ready! ;)

That stallion is very nice looking, glad his leg healed well enough for him

to stand at stud.

Will you get to watch the birth of your foal?

P.S. Don't know if you've heard of him, but my cousin Jimmy has James

Bryce Quarter Horses in Missouri!

Nuthrday has a horse ranch. 6 or 7 horses, i think. she'd be a good one for this thread.
