Which would you rather be, broccoli or asparagus?
Which would you rather be, broccoli or asparagus?
I was excited to see this question and disappointed I could not post an answer. I think this should be a postable thread. So, in the vein of everyone else here who does what moves them, I am stealing the question (I hope you don't mind, Floppy) and requesting that ONLY serious posters repond.
Being green, I empathize with these veggies and love them both dearly.
However, if I had my druthers -- and given the opportunity to choose, I would NOT want to be a short, chubby, round clump of green, when the opportunity to be a tall, thin, slender, highly desired stately stalk of veggieness was offered.
I hope I have not offended any Brocollis out in FG land, but a vegetable is, what it is.............

I'd be a baby asparagus. Highly delectable, skinny yet short, and a little on the expensive side.

After ActionfigureStepho asked, "I'd love to see your justfication for brussel sprouts."
Nomad responded, "I think they speak for themselves."
SoJo says: That's a cop out!
No vague inferences accepted here.

I'd choose to be the broccoli....
Would have nice stalks with a full head of green hair.
There is so much more one can do with broccoli verses asparagus.
