Anyone ever eat these? I haven't in years and years but I remember I

used to eat them quite a bit on cookies or whatever... They aren't FDA

approved because they could be toxic!! (Metal content, i.e. silver and

such!!)

You are supposed to use them as decoration only and take them off

before eating!!

Nope, can't say I've ever had a cookie with a dog on it before. If I did, I think I'd have trouble eating it, especially as I am a vegetarian.

You mean the little silver balls? I've always eaten them. I know we're not supposed to but I think they're tasty and I just always have eaten them. :)

Isn't this just a fancy name for sugarered almonds or chocolate covered nuts ? They seem to do use them in gold and silver for wedding cake / table decorations.

i think originally they were sweet covered pills (french)
