This is the year of 666? LOL! Just one of those interesting dates on the calender of life! muahahahahaha:yh_devil

june 6th. Being as I am always writing the dates on charting and stuff, I tend to notice the really odd dates on a calender. like 01/01/01. That was fun. I did a treatment for a patient at that time just to be able to write it. I know, I know......you dont need to tell me how pathetic that is! LOL!!!:wah:

Reminds me of the old story about the psychiatrist and the proctologist who decided to share office space.

The question came up as to how the 'shingle' outside should read.

The psychiatrist said, "Why not just say, 'Nuts and Butts'. That's plain and to the point.

"Well," replied the proctologist, "it may be plain and to the point, but it's not very dignified. How about 'Rears and Queers'?"

The psychiatrist didn't like that, so, to make a long story short, they finally settled on 'Odds and Ends'.

Not sayin I'm superstitious, but if I have to write out a check it will be dated

6/5/06 or 6/7/06!!!

But when you really boil it down, as it was pointed out, it started with the year 2001 which worked to be 1/1/1, then 2/2/2, 3/3/3, and so forth, it will continue to 12/12/12.

(Then in 2013 the chain is broken):-2

Im not superstitious at all. I don't worry about walking under ladders or seeing black cats. I do know some people who are though.

My nan was really superstitious. If she was on the bingo bus and saw 1 Magpie she would make the poor driver bring her home straight away :wah:

I was very superstitious when I played football (soccer :-5 )......always had to wear the number 12 (substitute or not),

it was because I always wore number 3 until I signed for another club when playing junior football and someone already wanted number 3 for themselves.....so i opted for 12, 1+2=3,

isn't superstition silly at time...............I never played any better because of it.

I don't get excited about most 6-6-6 things. For one thing, Revelation 13:18 says the number is six hundred sixty six, not "six-six-six." It also says it is the number of a man, not a date.

Just as seven is a number of perfection or completeness, six is a number of incompleteness and imperfection. Man was created on the sixth day of creation in Genesis.

A close parallel is found in Daniel 3:1, where Nebuchadnezzar sets up a gold image that is sixty cubits high and six cubits wide. When musical instruments are played (of which six are listed) the people were to bow and worship this symbol of the perpetuity of Babylon, or be thrown into fiery furnace. Likewise, the mark of the beast is a symbol of worshipping an image, which if people fail to worship it, they are first boycotted and then killed (Revelation 13:7).

Scarey stuff !!

I read somewhere that in the future people would have chips under their skin that we could be easily identified and scanned (like in the supermarket) and that this is a sign of evil. I can't remember where I read this.

Apparently it was good luck to touch something made of Iron (in the days of Druids), also spitting was meant to to avert evil.

I think spitting is just disgusting. The guys over here seem to think it's really unhealthy to swallow saliva. Yuck!!

I would actually break up with someone if they were a 'spitter' :-5
