It WORKS!!!!
I am happy to report to my UK sisters, that the special K two week diet WORKS!!! I have TOTALLY dropped a jeans size! And let me tell you I am THRILLED!!! And though it was just a kick start to a long term diet thing, it did the job!
Tomorrow is the last day of my 2 bowls/2 meals/2 week gig. In addition to this, I have replaced whole milk for skimmed, and my fridge and cabinets are chock block full of weight watchers stuff. I have replaced real sugar with low calorie sweetner, and munch on fruit if I get peckish between meals.
I have lost inches from all over.
I wore my new jeans yesterday. The ones I couldnt even fasten a couple of weeks ago.:-6

Thanks! It's a harsh way to start, but it works! I also take a multivitamin every morning so I dont suffer too much. I've just cut out the fat and calories from my diet.

Well done Raven. I tried it a while ago but couldn't keep it up for 2 weeks. I did lose a little weight though. My son is getting married in June and as I am at least 1stone overweight, I am desperately trying to lose weight .....I don't want to be that 'tubby ' person in the wedding photos
Excersise is the big problem but i am addressing that as well.
Good luck to you ....don't forget to pass on all your tips and tricks. xxx
P.S. In my quest to eat five pieces of fruit a day, I bought a Papaya...cost £1.....(each)....it's not very nice...I should have bought a melon...

Bez, one day a couple of weeks ago, I went out and bought a couple of pairs of what I call 'fat pants'. They are a US size 10, UK size 14. I couldnt get them buttoned without a whole lot of blubber going over the top. That was it. I cried for about two hours. I was pregnant, the last time I was this size. It may not sound like alot to you, but to me, it's major. I have a small frame, even though I'm tall. My usual size is a US size 5-7 UK size 10-12. Thats where I'm heading.
Anyway.....I came to the conclusion that I'm the only one who can change it. Seeing that advert, I thought I would give it a go. I've stuck to it. I only eat one weight watchers meal for dinner, and I munch on grapes, bananas and oranges in between meals. I replaced my whole milk for skim, and I use sweetner instead of sugar. I use nimble bread and flora spread. I figure I have cut my calorie intake to less than 1000 a day. Not to mention I've cut my fat intake. I have lost weight from everywhere.

Right on! Once I lose a bit more, it's into the gym with me! I used to be alot more active than I am now. Too cold to swim like I used to, and not warm enough to melt excess cellulite like i used to every summer. The only place to get close to what I used to be like, just a short two years ago, is in a gym. But I dont want to build and tone muscle under fat, so I have to shed the blubber first.

If you are REALLY only getting 1,000 calories a day, beware, that is
too low. Your body will eventually slow your metabolism because it will
feel the need to conserve since it's "starving".
