Yup. you heard right, folks... Nick Lachey is asking for alimony in his

divorce from Jessica Simpson. (I guess the amount is to be determined!)

Only 'cause the guy is a bazillionaire... I'd post the same if Jessica asked

for it...

I don't know where he gets his money, one would hope he had

investments and didn't spend it all.

What I guess really strikes me is all the time in the courts, etc.,

for 2 people to fight over something like this. They didn't have a

pre-nup but still I wish people would be civil enough (asking for a

lot, I know) to just say "Here, let's do it this way". I'm not

opposed to one spouse or the other helping the other out for a

while if they need it, but it gets way out of control.

If I was in a similar situation, I would say "Here's a few million,

(Nick) let me know if you need more at some point" just because

you cared about the guy. And I also would expect the guy to

say "Thanks a lot, (Jessica) this will really help me out."

Just chock full of naivete this morning, aren't I?

Guess Nick has no pride!!! If it were me, I would just want to part civil like, (don't even have to remain friends, if need be) and be a man about it! Especially since I believe it was said, it was "he" who cheated on her!!!

LOL. Two rich people trying to screw each other over in court? I like it. Beats the heck out of them trying to screw over poor people.:wah:

Sounds like they deserve each other.

After hearing that load of crap from her on some celeb news show regarding what she sought in a new relationship... I really don't care... besides, it's not like she can't afford it or anything, anyway... she's doing better than Nick is... just give it to him.

btw, wasn't she the one that thought tuna was actually chicken? I'm not convinced that dumb act is entirely an act. :wah:
