My name is Evelyn and I live in the south central US -- Oklahoma, in fact. I have two grown daughters and two grandsons who are the cutest, smartest little critters on earth. I work as a book editor, like to read, scrapbook, stitch, and garden (and my yard needs serious attention this year). I also work out regularly and like to help walk my daughters' boxers (and I have a cat who hides in the garage when the dogs come to visit). I enjoy political and current events discussions, among others.

It's busting out spring here and quite windy today. Daffodils, crocuses, fruit trees are in bloom. I hope we don't get a freeze that kills everything. Hello to all --

Hi Evelyn and welcome to the ForumGarden. It's a great place. (So is Oklahoma). We've got opposite weather here in Australia - beautiful early autumn - fruit on the trees, turning leaves, soft light.. great barbecue weather.
