Melbourne's Old Prison

Pics were taken on March 7th of the prison that housed the infamous "Ned Kelly". The body armour was used by Ned in a shootout with the authorities in the 19th century. The story of Ned Kelly is fascinating and is available as a movie on DVD. It's an Aussie film. Too bad they closed the joint as it seems perfectly adequate to me in housing some of societys baddies.
