Unsolved Cold Cases

Post by The Red One »

I've just finished reading the JonBenet file at this website: http://www.crimelibrary.com/notorious_m ... dex_1.html

It was interesting. There were alot of things that were done wrong from the start and there are alot of things that are strange.

Why were the windows and a door open when it was cold outside?

The area wasn't quaranteened (?)

Why wasn't the letter matched up against anyone else besides the Ramsey's?

The mayor went by what the police chief told her and didn't check the facts herself.

Can the police withhold a body to interrogate someone?

Why weren't the results of searching the house for porn ever reported?

Why wasn't the book shop in question ever identified?

Why were her brother and sister interviewed as possible suspects when they weren't anywhere near the house?

Were there any marks (bruises) on her, like she'd been beaten, from where her mother supposedly got upset because she wet the bed?

Why did the police already have affidavits for their arrest the previous May?

Why didn't the police take finger prints?

If a man, Lou Smit, resigned from Hunter's team due to him feeling the Ramsey's were being wrongly accused, wouldn't that mean something? The man had worked on the department for quite a few years.

Why did the police focus only on the Ramsey's and not other suspects?

What does Chief Beckner mean by their cooperation was a smoke screen?

Why weren't the Ramsey's interviewed at first?

Why didn't the Boulder PD agree to let Edward Gelb do the polygraph test instead of insisting on the FBI?

Beckner thought it best not to release any portion of the videotaped interviews or transcripts because it could potentionally harm their ability to find justice for JonBenet. Didn't they, the community, police, and most everyone else condemn her parents?

The Ramsey's must be guilty, they had a lawyer advising them. Wouldn't anyone? A lawyer friend got them a lawyer on his own. I you were being accussed of murder from the start, wouldn't you take all the advice you could get?

Mrs. Ramsey had ovarian cancer and more than likely could not produce another child. Why would she or her husband kill the only child they would ever have?

Why did it take the Boulder law enforcement community seven years to send the DNA samples to the FBI?

There wasn't any evidence against the Ramsey's and they were still suspects and guilty. They were condemned before anything was investigated.
