Has this been posted here yet? It is doing the rounds..

This guy is amazing, certainly no leaning on any lamposts for this guy.

Beautiful - I'd love to know what tuning he has it in 'cos it sure don't sound like standard Uke tuning.

Supremely well played. Very accomplished. He has several CDs which are available from his site.

Yep, I heard of Israel--a co-worker brought some of his stuff in awhile back. It was interesting.

Yes, when I saw Paul in 2002 he had a ukelele George gave him and he told a story about when he went round George's the ukelele's would always come out and they would play. He then played "Something" and it was quite cool. And yes, the concert for George is great--dvd and cd!

The tuning used on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is the standard GCEA ukulele tuning. There are other tunings for ukulele but GCEA is the current standard it you will.

Jake Shimabukuro is an awesome ukulele player. There is another Google video of Jake playing "Crosscurrent" from the CD of the same name. I don't have privelages yet to post an external link so I can't post it.

Thanks for that - it shows how bad my ears are 'cos it sounded way different to the Uke's I'm used to (especially the resident George Formby impersinator at our club :)).
