Pics of birds

Post by The Red One »

Okay, how many here take pics of birds? My mil got me addicted to it. I've now seen a bird she hasn't and is now extremely jealous of me, since I told her I had pics of the birds. I love it. :wah:

Here is the bird(s) I've had around here lately. It's a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. They are very uncommon here and I am priviledged to have seen them. :D

I love it when the birds look at me! It's like they are checking you out and saying I see you, what are you going to do to me? Thanks for the comment by the way. :D I have sooooooooo many pics, not just of birds either, plants, people, mainly birds though. :D

Lovely pic there Red. It must be so nice being able to see beautiful birds like those, especially ones that are considered rare. Sadly all we get are pigeons and seagulls, which aren't exactly thrilling!! :wah:

Pigeons and seagulls are pretty too. Look at all the colors in a Pigeon and seagulls, I've seen a few but not many. SIGH.....I wish I had a better camera to get better pics, but this cam will work for now until next year :D

I can post for days Snooze! Do you have any bird feeders on your balcony? Goldfinches are pretty too and their feeder(s) don't take up much space at all. Check on the net and find out what kind of birds are in the area you live in and go from there.

I've always been crazy about hummingbirds. Have you ever been to the hummingbird enclosure at the San Diego zoo?

I've never been anywhere near California! I've gone north and south and east but never west. Hummingbirds are all over the place here, you just have to set out the food and feeder for them. I'm trying to get a picture of one but those suckers are fast, and well, the camera and I aren't....LOL

I took this picture May 11, everytime I see it I get tickled. I think the Grosbeak scared the female cardinal. :wah:
