Shape of things to come?

In my local paper today, an ad for "1996 Ford Explorer. Runs great,

good tires." All for the low, low price of $499.00!!!



Now, would you think gas is about 3 and a quarter per?

I don't know about the older ones... although 10 years isn't THAT old,

they do lose mileage over time. But between 8 and 10 is probably a

pretty good guess...

Yes that is a pretty good guess, and yes as the vehicle gets older, the gas economy drops off drastically! If you're really interested in that gas guzzler, offer $299, they'll probably take it. :wah: :rolleyes:
