Oh I wish ??

Oh I wish somebody could explain to a novice how to upload a pic to my posts.

I have tried the "manage attatchments" no joy there,god I have tried everything.

Hiya...once you get to manage attachments goto 'Upload file from your computer' and from the side of the boxes choose 'Browse' and you should get some options from 'your computer'. When you've selected your file. choose 'upload'.

Sometimes 'Bitmap' files are too big and you may need to go back and save them as 'Jpeg' files.

If this doesn't work, tell us exactly what the problem is and I'm sure we can find a solution.

do you think they have to be a supporting member? Naw ok here why not PM admin that would be tombstone or anastrophe and let them know you are struggling. They are the best bet.

There is another way you can try, do you use www.photobucket.com (or) www.imageshack.us? . Both of these are free to use/join. Upload your photos to them and when you want to include one in your message click on the "yellow" coloured postcard in the 2nd row above the message box.

You will have to cut and paste them from Photobucket or Imageshack but both of these will work for you. (Just remember not to move,resize or delete them from P/bucket or Imageshack after you have posted them or they will disappear from your message).

I am pretty hopeless with computers, I'm almost a complete novice but I have been using these and have found them more or less idiot-proof!

True, but Tombstone asked that we keep that to a minimum. Something about bandwidth, I think.
