Here is the link.
My favorites from the book included "You Know They've Got A Hell of A Band", "Popsy', "Sorry Right Number", "End of the Whole Mess" and "Rainy Season" so at least I hvae 2 out of the 5.
Tomorrow I'm looking foward to Crouch End and I'm kinda suprised that this TV MADE SERIES actually has some TALENTED actors for once.

Hopefully this will be the first King based TV series that is actually good. Can't wait to see it.

Kingdom hospital was a complete Bomb and I haven't really liked that many Made for TV movies........Rose Red had the most annoying actors of all time, The Langoliers placed second (balky from Perfect Starngers), followed by The Tommy Knockers. Desperation started out decent but then went complete to hell. I did like The Stand but didn't feel it was great, think Weber played a decent Jack Torrance in The Shining but Kubricks film version was better than Kings and I did enjoy Needful things. Big Screen has had a few bombs here and there, Dreamcatcher, but the majority are enjoyable.
I'm interested in what the plans will be for the Dark Tower.......only way to make it work would be a LOTR budget kind of film with a great cast other wise don't touch it. Same goes for The Talisman. Don't won't to see either of these made in to Made for TV films.

I am really looking forward to the series. I already have it set to record on TiVo. I have usually like his short stories, and short novels. They don't always adapt well to the screen, though.

As it has been raining all day, our sattelite signal has been sopratic at best. I have tonights eposides on TiVo, and hope they come out OK. But, just to be safe, TNT is repeating them tomorrow evening, got them set to record then too!! If I like them, I may put them on a disc. Rick is really good at editing out the commercials.

Not positive but I think the premier is commercial free.

You heard correctly. TNT does that often.

Liked the toy solidiers, which wasn't in the book, better than Crouch End. Next weeks episodes should both be good. Includes Macy and Livingston plus one of my favorites from the book, "End of the Whole Mess".

Have started watching "Nightmares & Dreamscapes." Liked the episode with William Hurt about toy soldiers. Didn't go much on the William H Macy episode or the "Crouch End" one either. The one last week about the two brothers was ok and this week's one about a horror writer & a painting was not bad either.
The one I'm really looking forward to is the Autopsy episode with Richard Thomas. I love the fact that this has actually happened to people on the operating table. I haven't been overly impressed with the series so far.
I love the early versions of Stephen King's books. My favs are "Carrie", "Salem's Lot", "The Shining", "The Stand", "Misery" (still can't watch the scene with the sledgehammer & the ankles) and "Dreamcatcher". My fav SK book is "The Talisman" and the last I heard Stephen Spielberg was looking at putting it on the big screen. It could be done with excellent CGI effects & I think the principal baddie in the book could be played by Michael Ironside onscreen.
Love, light & blessings

Im not an SK fan at all, i think his books are far to 'round the houses' for me, but the first nightmares & dreamscapes was fab with the toy soldiers, the painting one was good to but the others havent been much cop
