Bogus Ebay or Paypal email

All real messages from ebay or paypal will have your user name in them, not merely "Dear {ebay,paypal} user" - the latter is a dead giveaway.

I was phished once by a bank that does not even have branches in my area!!

If you receive questionable email asking for info from what looks like either ebay or Paypal, forward the entire email to

spoof@ebay.com

spoof@paypal.com

You'll receive a very prompt response telling you that they're checking into it, and every single one of my forwarded emails has been some ass hole trying to phish me.
I have also received a few of these emails.The first one I received looked so real I was ready to reply until I remembered reading a similar warning regarding phishing. I was Glad I didn't reply. A posts like this can be very informative.
