2 Week Waiting Period

Post by DesignerGal »

I am officially in the 2 week waiting period. Im so nervous, excited, nauseous (sp), flabbergasted, hopeful, dreadful, any possible emotion is pumping through my veins right now. I wont know anything until August 15, 2006. Its HARD waiting! UUUGGGGHHHHH! I am going to go crazy. ANyone have any ideas for a hobby I can take up to make time go by faster and keep my mind off this?

Help me stay focused please. I cant think about anything else!

Do you like painiting, or anything artistic?

Needle work?

Write up a good cookbook to give family members for a Christmas present.

Ahh DG, it's gonna be tough, but your gonna have to relax. :D

Go rent some movies you've been wanting to see, or some books you've been wanting to read.

or

We'll 'randomly' pick a fg member to abuse each day..we'll start with nomad of course and then perhaps switch to snooze.. to kick things off...:wah:

LOL! I could never roast my poor Snooze! I have been painting and I read 2 books at a time anyway, so thats not new. And I have 4 packs of gum to control the need to smoke although, it doesnt work a bit! Im trynig not to stress. My RE said if the stress is to great, take a puff, but dont smoke like you normally would, UGH!

I dont want to see any movies I can think of. I need to get out of the house. I want to go shopping but we have just written a check for a couple thousand for this so shopping probably isnt a good idea. Maybe we could cook a nice dinner tonight.

Eating helps with the smoking but IM GOING TO GET PHAT!!

Oh man try just holding a cigarrette in your hands like you were gonna smoke it. Even put in your mouth and inhale like you normally would. Just don't light it, unless your on the verge of murdering someone. ;)

I was going to suggest knitting too. Find some cute baby patterns and knit him or her a cute little jacket. That will also keep you thinking positively, which is always a good thing! Good luck!
