Geez, Pinky. I'm glad you're ok.

As a thought, I keep a credit card sized note in my credit card wallet for whom to contact in case anything happens to me (along with drugs taken). Just make sure the contact knows to let FG know. Not that we want anything to happen to you. Stay safe.:( :-4

It's an awful feeling...when that adrenaline pours through you and your knees go to rubber! Glad you're ok, Pinks! I want to hear more about your future BALL events!

I'm glad you're okay too! There are some mad idiots on the roads!

I walked my son to school one day last term. There's a major crossroads he has to cross. On one side theres a slip road where you can slip round the corner and miss the traffic lights if there's no traffic coming. This day a young chap came full pelt along the road and around the slip road just as we were crossing. We had to jump for our lives back onto the central island! He was so busy yabbering into his mobile phone that he didn't even see us - the jerk!

I also used to date a biker. We were driving up to Yorkshire to see his folks, we were zooming along in the fast lane of the motorway, which was completely empty! Not a car for miles. When suddenly this van joined the motorway from a slip road. It was going fast and there was something about it. I tapped the BF on the shoulder and yelled at him to slow down because the driver hadn't seen us and was going to hit us. The BF had a huge bike with a massive fairing on the front so we'd be hard to miss, so the BF yelled that of course he had seen us, but he throttled back anyway. Thank God! This van literally ploughed straight across three lanes into the fast lane at top speed. The driver had obviously seen an empty motorway in front and behind and never thought to look to the side. As it was he cut us up quite badly and the BF sat on his horn to let him know. But if I hadn't yelled at him to slow down we'd have been spattered across 3 lanes of motorway!

There are SO many idiots on the roads today - and it always seems to be the other guy who gets injured!

Take care when you're out riding Pinky hunny, and you too BR sweetie.

Drive safe.

Oh, you shouldn'tve been on *his* road!!!

Anyway, if there's a next time, report it to the police (get the number, of course,

if you can) and tell them that happened, and the person concerned

may have been drunk, they were weaving all over the place, and you are worried

that they might crash into someone else. Heh.

You were in the wrong lane. You should have been in L1, not the overtaking lane.

I popped out early evening to go and get a few last bits, and a bloody great 4x4 came hurtling toward me on the wrong side of the road! I really thought my time was up tonight...I was going to Tesco in Lowestoft for the last of me camping bits....i DIDN'T EXPECT SOME WAZZOCK TO BE USING THE ROAD AS A MOTORWAY! I thought, hey, he'll move over once he's passed that car...hell did he!

I flashed and beeped like a loony and a shocked lookcame over the idiot's face...he missed me by inches, no exaggeration!

I parked in Tesco and howled my eyes out!
I'd have to go back home and change my pants. Glad you're okay, Pinks. :yh_flower

Gee, I'm so glad you're okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a shock that must have been!!! I remember a while back giving my sister a couple of overseas phone numbers to call if I suddenly expired. For similar reasons. Know exactly what you mean. I must update her list. Grin.

Hope the camping goes well !!!! Havent' done it in a while, and miss it.
