That's cool! I'd get one if I could afford it.

It's like a Go-Cart, only with a body around it! :wah:

It would seem in an accident, that it would be quite questionable as to survivability! :-2

I would absolutely buy one, but they are a bit pricey aren't they.

Considering in the event of a crash would almost mean instant death in that cofin for a car, probably not.

Make one bigger thats equally cost and environment efficient, and I'll think about it.

People ride bycicles and motorcycles, there is more protection in this car than they provide. I would love to have one, maybe not for a road trip, but for getting around town, you bet.

I met Mario Andretti. I was closing the gate to an airside bar at TIA. He begged me to open the bar back up so he could get a drink before his flight. His son Michael said "do you know who this is do you know who this is ?" I had all the power didnt I ? MUAHAHAAAAA !

I would rather take my chances on a bicycle or motorcycle....

at least in such an event there is a good chance I wouldnt take all of the force generated from the impact.

Ask Roethlisberger...

Given standard lead acid batteries that would spray sulphuric acid around in a crash I'll stick with the bike thanks.

Actually Snooze, in the article it mentioned "tip over" is not too much of a problem. As there is 1000 pounds of batteries inside the car only "4" inches off the ground, acting as a stabilizer!

In any event, it is pretty small. But as CC said, it would probably be good to get around in "Town", & also able to park in all the small spaces that regular size cars couldn't fit it! :wah: Downside: The car's batteries need to be "recharged" every "80" miles!

I'm told the heat here in the south kills the batteries in the hybrids. They are thousands and only last three or four years. Gotta go with Snooze on this one. I am usually traveling at a high rate of speed.

The bad news is we are on the road to hell. The good news is, we are makig good time.

Well jb, if speed is what you're looking for, the article also said that this little bugger is as fast as a Vette! 0 to 60 in "4" seconds!!! Go figure! :wah:

Only adds to my speculation that it will prove to be a cofin on wheels...

For a quick and easy answer to such an hypothesis, look up and compare Sprint car injuries and fatalities with that of full size race cars and see what it says.

I wouldnt go over 30mph in that go-cart.
