Well this could be dangerous....

i've always wanted to become a paramedic. I fell in love with emergency medicine when I worked in an ER before my kids were born. Well the other day I was approached by the president of our volunteer fire department to sign up to be a volunteer firefighter. If I do, then the city will pay for my EMT classes which gets me on the road to becoming a paramedic.

I wanna do this, but I don't since I've still have my daughter home with me the majority of the time. And I can't exactly take her along on runs. So I guess I'll just continue thinking on it till she starts preschool.

Perfect Sheryl when an opportunity like this comes along take it, especially since it is a dream of yours. When your baby is in pre-school will be the perfect time..

Well my dad used to work in the Fire Brigade for a long time, I've spent a lot of time with the good guys and gals that work there, so I say go for it Sheryl. It's great helping the community, and as you say will help you on your road to becoming a paramedic. Good luck, we know you will do great when the time comes!!
