Doll shopping

Post by Sheryl »

My daughter's birthday is around the corner, so I was shoping for a doll that looks like her. I found one, but it would cost me the same as it did to have her in the first place.

here's a link to the doll, check out the price tag..

That doll looks creepy.

Why couldnt they use fake hair and give the real hair to a cancer stricken kid?

What about a cabbage patch kid? THey're 20 bucks.

And the name Ma Vie En Rose reminds me of that french film I saw with the same name about a crossdressing kid who stresses his parents out.

I was at an expo some time ago. There was a creative start up co that made dolls using photos. Whatever the process is the doll looks identical to the photo. I dont recall the name but you might try googling variations. You might get a hit.

The doll is georgouse Sheryl.

But arent there places where you can buy the doll and paint it yourself?

That way it would be custom, one of a kind and really truely mean something. Sorry just an idea.

Eeeks babies_momma you havent' seen my painting have you. It'd look more like a clown. :D

I've checked out the sites Snooze posted and I think I'm gonna go there. However it will have to be her Christmas present this year since it takes up to 3 weeks for delivery and her birthday is the 3rd.

Thanks Snooze for the link :-6

Get her a nice dolly she can play with-the other may be pretty, but if she can't play with it, what good is it?
