And how do the native americans feel as surely they must wonder why Columbus gets the praise for "discovering" a new world which they had already "discovered" and were living in?

Don't forget...October is also "Celebrate sun dried tomatoes" month, Gay and Lesbian History month, Eat Country Ham month and National Pajama month.
