guys we need an honest debate on this for i cant tell the difference between flirting and being friendly where does one finish and the other start

i have my day of questions today and i had a good laugh , thanks pants it will be your turn soon even as we speak my mind is thinking devious invasive questions for you to squirm over ha ha ha

today i did not think i flirted with any one nor did i think any one flirted with me

in the past there has been trouble with girlfriends when i have been having a laugh with girls just being friendly like ya do , they have said that the girls have got the wrong idea and i was encouraging them

i knew these women did not fancy me nor i them we were just having a laugh ,

what gives girls when you cant really believe every guy who has a laugh with you is flirting or do you

sometimes it's just a language barrier. Like "I'll knock you up in the morning". Though that is not a very seductive offer and comes with an ice cream expense beyond the cost of an expensive restaurant and a movie.

pretty subjective among observers, I would think.

And it might also be different culturally... I don't think married or not

I would try to flirt on a trip to UK or Rome or something!!

Having a laugh with someone - joking with no sexual inuendo

Flirting - as above but with some sexual sugestiveness but no intention of carrying it through (and would probably run a mile if someone tried).

Chatting up - Flirting with intent

Does that about cover it?

Jimbo, its a fair question and I know you mean well. Look, I think that basically flirting on here is fine as long as you are comfortable with it, but if you feel that someone is crossing the line or taking it too seriously I suppose you just have to let them down gently or discuss it with them as best you can, and if someone gets the wrong end of the stick with you, you can set them rights. Now I know, I know, its not the easiest thing in the world so you have to be careful. I can't talk, I've been flirting with Pinky for days, as well as hamster, and ok C&B too, probably have to admit I have a soft spot for wendybird, and I'm sure I will say something pass remarkable to snooze I'm sure before the night is out coz she is great I love her to bits and like she said she's a sex beast, ok ok I'm a slag. I just can't help flirting with women who flirt with me, its fun (well except for the threats of occasional violence, nothing new there).

But seriously, if I thought I was being inappropriate, or if someone said something really too much for me, I would say something. We are all here coz we like the place, and each other, and given that we are men and women, (or in my case a 34 year old infant) some flirting is inevitable. I find it a break from the more serious threads that I get into, as long as its done in a sense of fun and doesn't turn into something else its ok I think.

As far as flirting goes i think we all do it sometimes without even realising - its human nature . To me its having a laugh and as soon as i go offline its forgotten . I do see where your coming from though . I think as long as all parties are secure in their relationships there should be no need to be wary or jealous.

sue i totaly resent that i've stopped drinking wich i thought i,d never do i dont go out any more , my mates dont even ring any more coz they know i wont be out , this pc is my one contact with the outside world and to be honest you are on it more than me any way
