Baby if your reading this you need to turn off and unplug your laptop also take the battery out. ya gotta let it dry out or it will fry the entire thing.

You can get replacement keyboards at a comp fix it shop, but sometimes it fries the mother board. Good luck cause I fried one last year with coffee. That is the only bad thing about laptops.

the motherboard is almost certainly just fine. if the motherboard had gotten wet, the machine would be 100% toast, no question about it. a wet keyboard however just mucks up the typing - which is exactly what we're seeing.

i'd still recommend leaving it unplugged, no battery, for another day. wouldn't hurt to set up a fan blowing on it.

you can indeed get a replacement keyboard, but chances are it just needs some further drying.

most laptops these days take into account spills, so they protect the true innards well. that's why the motherboard is okay.
