Hugs and Smooches to you Lulu2! I'll be missing our conversations everyday, as I have been the past two weeks. How was Jordan by the way?

Good luck tomorrow!:D

WOW...thanks, everyone! I figure good meds will help get rid of this #$%$#@ jet lag! I'm really looking forward to getting my new knee--I've had premature cartilage loss forever, it seems, and I finally get to do something about it! The doctor said I'd need five days in hospital and I said THREE! So, I hope to be home on Monday.

Then I'll have time to get some thoughts and photos together, if anyone's interested in Jordan. Petra was just incredible! So was Wadi Rum! And I dipped some toes into the Jordan River and the Dead and Red seas. I also got to hear why Muslim women have it "so much better" than we western ones do....I'll explain later.

Now...you all be good....hear? :sneaky:

What's the knee made of? If it's metal, you might have trouble with airport security. Then again, you could buy a magnet and have a really convenient memo board.

See you soon! :-6

+++++++++++++++++++:wah: HEYYYY! I bought a really cute CAMEL magnet in Jordan! Do you think it'd amuse the surgical team tomorrow morning?

Truth is...they give you a certificate to use in airports...with a photo of a little xray, showing your knee implant! I don't care...my knees went to hell when I was in high school and it's time now!

Love,

Sarah Stickee

Hey Pam, sorry I'm late. Been out of the loop for a couple days. Sorry to hear your having sugery....glad to hear you're all excited about it.

I'm anxious to hear how it goes. Bills needed knee surgery for years and won't do it.

Guess this means you won't be 'down on your knees' begging you boy toy for anything for a while. LOL
