Last Sunday I had my orientation at Disneyland. It was 8 hours long, but I am to get paid for it.
So I was initially "casted" as being on a ride where I was to row canoes. But when I met my new supervisor, he was that I didn't have huge muscles and he asked if I wanted to be "recasted" to a new ride, so I agreed.
So yesterday he called me and I am going to start training on the parades. And the next week I will be working in the "Pooh" area. His message said ".....next Saturday you'll begin your Pooh training". It sounded funny. So far I'm scheduled for weekends. But he says he will be giving me more hours the 3rd week.
Did I write that it's a union job? People who work there are in the Teamsters Union. I had to fill out union paperwork. So hopefully I'll make it past my 90 day probationary period, and then I'll be in the union.
And I heard that 85% of employees at Disneyland are gay. :-2

The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.
