Dear Snooze Control,

Thankyou for your pm. I like the way you send me pm's but tell me not to reply because you have me on ignore! :wah:

Firstly though, I have to say I love it when you put me on ignore, it's very liberating! :wah:

However, its very chicken-hearted of you to say dont reply. Its like ringing someone's doorbell and running away or hitting someone then saying 'please dont hit me back, I'm wearing glasses'!

So I'm replying to you here ... and not quoting your pm at all, okay?

In reply to your rather discourteous and acerbic comments I must tell you that I have had several pm's telling me how right I am and that they agree totally with what I say and profess their friendship for me.

But to you I have to say that I don't dislike you or hold you in disdain.

For your information I DO actually like you and I find a number of your posts very funny and amusing.

However I wish you would realise that people like you for your wit and amusing comments and for your sense of fun. You don't need to 'buy' friendships to make people like you. Of course its nice that you buy your friends forum memberhips and send them gifts, but surely they then feel they owe you their loyalty and friendship. Sometimes it seems that whatever you say, one of your friends will answer "Yeah. What snooze said" like a well-trained puppet.

I personally think you have a very big chip on your shoulder and I think you have a very low sense of self esteem. Low self confidence too. I believe you think that buying memberships and presents will buy friends but true friends will like you because of your insecurities and laughter, not in spite of them.

Because you know, I like the fun-loving person I see underneath, the person who is unsure of herself but is jokey to cover it. We're all unsure of ourselves, none of us is perfect or liked by everybody and we're all jokey to cover our insecurities. Many of us have low self-esteem. We just need to realise that we are all the same, we all worry about everything and we need to boost each others self confidence. Our caring for each other is what makes us nicer people.

It amused me to read your suggestion that I stay out of any thread you start. Considering many threads nascently arise from your hand that would mean I could only reply to a minimal number of threads. hehehe Good try.

However, I was under the impression that this was a general forum and all threads were available for everyone to enjoy. If you don't wish me to participate in "your" threads please ask Tombstone to set up a "Snooze" forum which I won't enter! :rolleyes:

You appear to want everyone to agree with you and be nice to you and praise you and you get that from those who you call friends and whom you buy things for. Well, ya know, we would all like to be constantly praised and admired but it just doesn't happen in real life. Why don't you try being nice to people you don't like - make an effort - it's Christmas!

Meanwhile I have a suggestion for you. I like your sense of humour and I hold out the hand of friendship to you. I dare you to try to be friendly towards me and Spot and anyone you're not overly keen on, at least for Christmas. And I'll reciprocate. And if I disagree with you, it doesn't mean I don't like you, just that I didn't agree with that particular point of view.

Can you do that?

Oh my God, the drama and seriousness around here is unbelievable. You guys need to party - I AM DEAD SERIOUS. If you all lived by me I'd bring over some good medical marijuana (Lady Cop, don't worry, it's legal and they all have medical issues) and have a good time.

I just want to say that you are seriously mistaken if you think for

one minute Snooze could EVER buy my friendship. Can't happen. Won't

happen. For you to suggest that demeans YOU, not US.

I want all of you who read this to know something. Something that

speaks to Snooze's character. I didn't ask her if I could say anything

about this, and I actually think she might prefer that I didn't, but

I'm going to anyway. Some of you may know that our cat Gracie went

to kitty heaven recently. What you didn't know until now was that a

donation was made in Gracie's memory to Best Friends animal rescue.

To help along a little cat named Kira. A very touching note came with

it, one that makes me tear up even now thinking about it. Think

about THAT for a moment, if you will. Please, just consider the type of

person who would do such a thing.

Snooze is a friend. Does she have flaws? Sure, as do I. You take all

of it, though, when a friend has proven themselves to be just that.

Through thick and thin. Through me getting pissed off at her, and

likely vice versa.

The OP knows herself I've "yelled" at Snooze before, in public posts

as well as maybe a pm here or there. Would you guys believe I have

cautioned her about some things in the past? That I have suggested

she remove something? Well I have. That sometimes she has and

sometimes she's said she's going to let it stand the way it is, again,

speaks to the level of her character and also our friendship.

The rest of you should be so lucky to have such a golden friendship

as this one.

YEP! Here is my story:

#1 ) SNooze (and chonsi) called me the day of and the day after my surgery to see how I was feeling. She knew I was terrified of being put to sleep and wanted to check on me. Snooze was the very first person to call. My mother and father didnt even call and only ONE of my sisters did. But sis didnt call until a couple of days later.

#2) When I first joined here, there was this rampant sewege monger named sheryl_b who repeatedly laughed and taunted me because she had 3 kids and I couldnt have any. SNooze (and LC) took up for me then and our friendship formed there. She even called me after that to see if I was okay.:-4

If I never thanked you for that, Im sorry. It meant alot. THANKS.

That is what kind of person Snooze is.:-4

She is one of the best people I have ever met.

That is so true, Val. How sweet a way for Gracie to be remembered.:-4

Snooze is a very good person, and has been my friend here from almost the first time she came through the garden gate. She is a very good sounding board, to ask things of, and is always there to talk with when I need her. She has done countless Acts of Kindness out of the goodness of her heart, and asks for no mention of it. Because that is the way she is, kind and thoughtful of others.

I cannot even comment on the "puppet" comments, that upsets me to think of.

I think that is what friends are, they are there, when we need them, and they need us. I have been and always will be her friend.

Snooze has been nothing but good to me since I've known her, outside of FG. She is also one of the few FG ladies I would let spank me which speaks volumes about her if I may say so myself.

Repeating what I have said before, there are very few here I could actually say I did not like. Snooze, Val, LC, DG, and others...I think you are all pretty cool. I may not say so often, but you are all nice ladies and I enjoy the fact I have gotten to know you all.

Controversy? Sure. What group dosen't have it? But we can work it out like the grownups we are.

I think the main reason this forum works above all others is the diversity of its members, i more than most have crossed swords with Snooze & i expect on some level we will continue to irritate each other because we are so different :rolleyes:

In saying that i would like to point out that i requested help in ordering something from America at a time when me & Snooze were not getting along & she was the first one to offer to help, hardly the anti christ

I dont believe for a second she done that to buy me, i'd like to finish by saying im sick to death of personal attack threads & think they should all be sent to the tar pit

not hardly! Yes, you tell it like you see it & that will, & does seem to bother some. That "Jet Pilot" really seemed to have gotten into your craw, & consequently you called him out, on many occasions. If recollecting correctly, that's around the time when the insurmountable drift between the various factions occured. Even causing some beloved members to jump ship! It appears that FG never fully recovered from that pittifull time. As aliances pro & con were forged between many members back then, & seems to carry on even today. You know the old saying:

You can please all of the people some of the time, & some of the people all of the time, BUT YOU CAN'T PLEASE ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME! :rolleyes:

Rapunzel has been publicly attacked more than once over the past couple of years. It seems to me that many times she has simply recovered with graceful quiet... even though Im certain she must have been hurt and embarassed. Shes never sent me any gifts, nor I her. When our eyes met last spring.. we both just knew we had similar hearts, minds, and spirits. She holds as high a place in my regard as SC does in many of yours. She gives of herself through her artwork. She sends color, fairies , hearts, and light to many of us when we need cheering up or support. The one and only time I verbally stood up here to stop the maligning of someone with good intent, I was erased and swallowed. And so I am very cautious to be very benign, and to overlook anything that I find in bad taste. However, This Woman... I will not remain seated for. Love to you Rapunzel. Weeder

As with others snoosy and l have not always agreed, but l feel she is a damn fine woman and l love her loads..

This does not however stop me from disagreeing with things that may be said by her or others. Nor does it stop me from loving and respecting others that may not share my views or feelings for her..
