Is This the next Superpower

China and Russia, formerly bitter rivals will hold a massive joint military exercise on Chinese territory next year 2005, Russia's defence minister said last night.

The exercises are expected to bolster burgeoning military ties between the two countries. Many observers see the announcment as Russia's response to a spat with the United States and the European Union over the disputed election in the Ukraine.

"For the first time in history, we have agreed to hold quite a large military exercise". Defence Minister Sergei Invanov said. Mostly state-of-art weapons, navy, air and long range aviation, submarines ect.

WE can all estimate what will happen and "listen to what we hear", its when it really happens -- then the information has truth?

It is not necessarily a good sign. Putin (although liked by Bush) is certainly acting in his old KGB ways. A dog and his bone are not soon parted.

Be more concerned about North Korea.

This is probably the most helpful advice in a proverb I've ever heard. Hope your not making it up.

As for the Chinese. I've thought that they are behind everything for a long time now. Will be interesting to see if I'm right.
