Even though it may be the world's oldest profession, it's still very dangerous to say the least! :wah:

Interesting not an easy life by any means.

ALOHA!!
MOTTO TO LIVE BY:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.
WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

Right, you would think so, but think about what did the farmers do after plowing the fields?!

(Not to derail this thread, LC....) It's always seemed to me that the "oldest profession" has GOT to be storytelling! Back in the cave times, nobody ever had to PAY for sex--they just whapped some poor woman on the head and took her!
BUT--at the end of the day, in the cave, around the fire, a good storyteller could light the imagination, make certain folks look BRAVE with the telling of their daily exploits, could spin tales about gods and spirits and keep people amused until they fell asleep.
A good storyteller would be fed and kept well into what passed for "old age," if he/she could keep spinning tales.
JMHO, of course.

My candle's burning at both ends, it will not last the night. But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--It gives a lovely light!--Edna St. Vincent Millay
