If people weren't buying the latest CDs would Linken Park have been able to donate 100K?

Perhpas we should also skip eating for a day and donate money we would have spent on food to them?

Most days I spend more on food then CDs. I have actually gone years and years with out buying CDs. But if I don't buy music that I like then that type of music will not get produced. Well just me won't have an effect but all of us mes in conglomeration.

This is called Dollar Votes. We vote for what we want produced based on where we spend our money.

I got Silent Nation by Asia as a gift as well as a live Who DVD[concert is from the 70s]. Still have not listened to the new Duran Duran I bought my wife.

How does the CCR song go? I ask them how much I should give and they just answer more and more. May be mixing this up with some Pink Floyd.

Antother thing one could do is get an old CD for $3 at the pawn shop and donate the difference. Got a very excelent CD for my wife on the last visit to the pawn shop:) Just thinking about not eating is making me hungry. But I do skip a day of eating every now and then. Have not done it for a while. But it does make you appricate what you have more.

One time I gave $25 to an organization and they sent me so may request for more donations I think that they actually lost money on me:(

And many companies are matching what their employies are giving.

I once offered to donate time to the Republicans and they insulted me for being under employed. They basically told me to get some skills so I could get a better job and give them MONEY. Talk about giving pearals unto swine. Not all republicans are bad. I am still technically a registered republican but I don't know that I will ever vote for them again with out cringing a tad.

I believe Pink Floyd was "Get your hands off my stack".
