Do you have a separate modem as well as the wireless box?

When I get wireless problems I have a few things I try. Power everything completely off and then switch them on one at a time from the service end to the computer end. Change the router channel setting sometimes works. If you have something like a mac address filter in the router settings, take that off and see if it clears the error.

:yh_worry I've just done a 'restore' and am back online for a sec so we'll see.

The other really technical thing I did was switch everything off at the mains. :D

This wireless thingy is all new to me and I'm sure its something obvious, just not obvious to me yet.....so keeping fingers crossed. Someones coming to look at it whilst I'm at work later anyway.

Oh yes Spot, I have a separate modem but I'm not sure if the guy disabled it when he installed the wireless thingy, trouble is I'm rushing around like an idiot getting ready for the weekend and haven't really got time to mess around.

*note to self - learn how to work this darn thing!* :o
