Tracking the Salford Sioux

It's hard to imagine 100 native Americans living in 19th century Salford. But it happened when Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show came to town. So what did they do here? And could you be a distant relation? One man is on the trail of the Salford Sioux:

I ran across this while looking for a picture of Black Elk to finish an article I'm writing, and his picture is on this article. This is an intriquing sideline................

I'm fair and blue eyed so i guess that lets me out.

That's fun to contemplate, Chonsi! And Abbey, I'm very fair with blue eyes & my great-grandmother was Native American....you never know.
