Does that "one moment" exist ???
And if it does, what happens if you let it pass by ???
Will it ever happen again ???
Just to confirm, that one moment when you feel the time is just right to tell someone you love them?

Bad Girls have very high standards, but they love you even if you sometimes fall short.

I really wish I could get into this topic, but the first time I spoke those words to my fiance, cannot be told in mixed company.... :yh_rotfl
If it's the time to say it....SAY IT!!!!
Regret the things you do, not the things you didn't do...

Bullet's trial was a farce. Can I get an AMEN?????

If that moment passes, it becomes an unfullfilled moment in time and can never, ever be re-captured the same way. Other and different moments will arise, but not that same moment that has passed.

But if the same thing will be said in either moment, how do we know they are different?

Because it's more than just the words, it's the feeling, the emotion.

Absolutely that one moment passes and is gone. Then the next moment happens then the next...that the great thing about Zen you only live in one moment at a time and can't regret the last or worry about the next.
If you spend time think what you could have done or what you are going to do then you keep losing that one moment in between.

I've thought about this since watching My Best Friends Wedding, because it's mentioned in that.
I can't think of one time that I've said it and really truely meant it... There was no moment at all, and I've been engaged :-3
If you don't take that moment is it more from being scared or just you wouldn't really mean it? And if you actually feel that moment wouldn't that mean that you did mean it, at that one moment at least?
My mind goes into overdrive sometimes with crazy thoughts.

Hello all, interesting topic and Coan in her usual way has beautifully spiced her post in an array of well selected words. I had to to read coan's post over and over again. I just admire her way with words.
For me knowing the right moment to say "I love you" is one thing while having or knowing the right person to say so to, who'll truly appreciate it, is the other. This is because in my part of the world, existing realities has skewed people's minds towards bucks and not words.

A formula for tact: "Be brief politely, be aggressive smilingly, be emphatic pleasantly, be positive diplomatically, be right graciously".

One of those moments came, it really wasn't what I expected, then I didn't want to answer the phone that rang seconds later... I did though :-4

Thank you. I admire words as well and enjoy meeting fellow wordsmiths.
I share your sentiments about loving and confused priorities.
