Hi Teri. We're all sorts here, a few younger than you, a few so close to a hundred years old that nobody can tell the difference. I think we've had posters from all known continents and three posting from off-planet. Most of the posters are women which becomes self-selecting 'cause it scares some guys from anything but respectful reading of their wisdom. We also have a cowboy, an indian, two comedians and a New Age Predictologist who knows more about conspiracy theories than most governments.

Welcome, Teri! :-6

And it absolutely is a pretty friendly place. I haven't been here much longer than you, but it has been slowly sucking me in.

Great to have you here.

Hi Teri! Welcome to Forum Garden!
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

Thanks. I didn't expect to meet anyone this quickly. Any time I join a new forum it usually takes a while for people to respond to me.

Really? Well, not at Forum garden. We're pretty good about welcoming new members. Try to be anyway. :)

If you want to put up a photo of you and your ferret, we'd love to see it. :)

Ferrets are strange lovable little guys.

Hi Teri, welcome to the garden:-6 :-6

I am registered disabled, I was bed bound for 3 months last year but thankfully I have improved quite a lot. I do have a wheelchair if I need to go any distance as I find my back is unable to cope with walking for longer than 15 minutes :)

I look foward to talking with you :D

Good place to chat away... it's a reasonably robust forum (hopefully) but without

too much nastiness. Is it too rude a question to ask why the chair?

BTW, we're all quite unique in here (and we're all the same in that). Sometimes

people even say sensible things!
