The value of arranged marriages.

Post by weeder »

Participating in this forum the past couple of months has given me interesting insight regarding arranged marriages. Not only do I see the concept in a more positive light. I actually can understand why they can work. Who will not agree that the majority of us are initially drawn to the opposite sex because of physical attraction? I know that I have made my choices that way. Listening here has made me realize how important it is to really know how people feel about important issues. I can almost tell who I would get along with, and who I positively could not, no matter what they looked like. I feel my level of respect grow as I listen to the contributions of people whom I have never even seen.

Or I am turned off by opinions I hear. It wouldnt matter if the person looked like

my ideal physical candidate..... It wouldnt matter.. I think communication for an extended period of time... without a face to face meeting would be a valuable prerequisate for any couple considering dating each other.. Any input?

She also has the most wonderful smile... so fantastic that I have dedicated myself to making her happy so I get to see it. I'm not sure what else you might mean by "physical attraction."
Where can I order that? :D
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
