Flying
When I was young, I believed that I could fly. I often dreamt that I WAS flying. Often, just before falling asleep, I would feel like I could hover above different locations. I havent had the feeling in years. Too bogged down by life. Id love to feel that way again. Has anyone ever experienced this phenomena?

I was like that.
I believed I really did fly. I moved by swimming through the air. It wasn't until I was about 7 or 8 that I decided I must have been dreaming... or daydreaming. I have trouble remembering how old I was when childhood things happened. I think that's about right though.

LMAO!!!
I often dreamed as a child I could pilot big space crafts or helicopters... it was a popular dream during childhood....
as an adult this has changed to actual flying...... soaring through the air with my arms stretched out either side.....
a few months ago I had a dream where I had actually died......and I was a spirit flying through the air.....no one living could see me!..... its the most free I have ever felt in a dream, because I didnt have a body.....more of a spirit!
It wasnt a nice dream tho cause I had died by being stabbed in the back walking down an alley way close to where I grew up.....
I dont think I will be walking up that alley any time soon...lol

This is how it felt to me.. I would actually, willingly rise up above the ground,
the higher I went, the more exhilarating it felt. But then, just when I felt most free... this incredible fear of going any higher would hit me, and I would return to the ground. Funny you should mention grass... This is exactly why I cannott be a pot smoker. See the corralation? Our personality traits really are sealed in our cells.

Yes, I know exactly what you are speaking of, and on occasion I still do.
Along with the dream where they tell me that I really didnt graduate high school and that I still have one more year.

Yes.
It happens to me frequently but not in the typical sense. Its more of in an understaning of things sense. It happens more frequently when I allow my spiritual self out of my closely guarded cage.

If we flew by our " Spiritual Pants" always.... and fully recognized that " All The World Is a Stage" We would have tremendous understanding, and insight. It is disorientating and often painful to live this way. That is why we allow ourselves to be distracted and sedated by props.
