The last couple of weeks I've been wondering what happened to my sweet baby boy, because lately all I've had is a smelly little boy. :wah:

We are rapidly approaching the end of his first year of school. He's learned his numbers, can read simple words, copy sentences and stuff like that. However there are a few things that I'm not impressed with. Arm farting, why is this so pleasing to boys. Did you know it's even cooler if you can do it with your legs? My son can do the leg farts unfortunately I've received many a serenade. :rolleyes: The last couple of months he has gotten to where he think it's really cool to talk back to his momma. Wasn't that funny though when I took his motorcycle away. :wah: And finally my cute little boy who used to take his socks off and used them as gloves on his hands, now can go outside and 5 minutes later look like he has been wrestling a pig.

It will be ok right????? The smells do fade right?? :-3

ohhh no- this is what I have to look foward too?? haha! They nevergrow up! They just get stinkier! I have 3 younger brothers and they smell worse now then they did when they where little!!!

No, but they evolve Sheryl. My nine year old usually smells like a baby goat and must be threatened into the delousing chamber (ie. shower)..:rolleyes:

Right now I really wish I had a home video that I could share with you, but it's not on dvd YET...but trust me, it will be in the future and you will be receiving an invitation to view on youtube when I get it there.

When my oldest son was about 7, his cousin Zack about 9, they would take straws, stragically place them in the arm pit, sticking out just enough to get a bit of air, and then blow into them with their mouth...makes the GREATEST fart sound...They pretended they were selling them on a commercial and I video taped it...Happy to report that these boys are 20 and 18 now and very responsible, handsome and repectable young men. They probably still giggle at the sound of a fart though...trust me... that never goes away....

Yeah, told my oldest just the other day that I'm finally getting it converted onto DVD and can't wait to put on youtube, and the boy screamed like a GIRL, saying NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!:wah: :wah: :wah:

Sorry to burst your bubble folks , the smell wears off when the interest in girls kicks in , then they smell as if they have had a bath in Aftershave , then after a while the bad smell comes back as they get older , eventually it gets so bad that I cant stay in the same room as ME :-5

I was gonna say that too sheryl..the stinky smell is replaced with soap, toothpaste, mouthwash,chewing gum , cologne, and lots of it..all of a sudden their clothes get clean and they look like angels.....when they start liking girls....enjoy the moment when it happens....:wah: because as soon as they get a regular girlfriend "poof" the piggy returns....more and more often....

As the mum of two adult sons there is a whole lot more to come. he will go through the black neck stage and start to get the teen moodies.You will be the worst person on earth because everyone else gets the best trainers and designer clothes and can stay out till twelve pm etc etc.Also he will drink under age and throw up all over your new sofa. When he is old enough to drink,he will go clubbing with his friends spend all his money and call you at 3am in the morning saying he want's you to pick him up from town but does not know where he is. Then there is the constant stream of girlfriends and you will get their names mixed up...lol

Saying all this I would not change a thing,as now my sons have grown into responsible adults we are the best of friends and often laugh at how they were when young.My eldest son will be a dad in September,and me a first time gran,I don't care if it is a boy again as they love their mums and I hope their gran dearly.

shhhhhh I'm trying to forget how horrible I was when puberty hit and with the diva I have now, I don't even wanna imagine what 10 years from now is gonna be like. :wah:

oh my!! i am going through that now with my daughter..she used to wouldnt wear a shirt that showed her neck..now? mini skirts that dont leave the mind wondering....yikes....:p

I miss that the most, being able to squish they're little pudgy baby bodies against me...:-1 my daughter is long past that stage and my son is almost 4 so........

but I'm not sharing my doritos either!!
